Perlu diketahui bahwa sejak adanya ISO 31000:2009 Risk Management maka pedoman untuk melakukan audit semua management system (external maupun internal) hanya menggunakan ISO 19011:2011. Begitu juga terhadap OHSAS 18001 telah berubah menjadi ISO 450001. Demikian pula ISO 9001:2008 berubah menjadi ISO 9001:2015 serta ISO 14001:2004 telah berubah menjadi ISO ISO 14001:2015.
