ISO/IEC 27001 defines an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and it is a specification for the management of Information Security. It is applicable to all sectors of industry and not confined to information held on computers. It addresses the security of information in whatever form it is held.
This course will enables participants to understand the Information Security Management system based on ISO 27001 concepts so it can applies to organizations.
The objective outlined in training ISO 27001 provide a model for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing maintaining, and improving an Information Security Management System. The ISMS is designed to ensure the selection of adequate and proportionate security controls that protects information assets and give confidence to interested parties.
